Metzeler – it all started from here
In 1863 Robert Friedrich Metzeler opened a trading company selling rubber and elastic goods in Munich, Germany.
A few years later, the first motorized vehicles began to appear. These were bicycles with a little internal combustion engine, initially fixed on the front wheel and subsequently on the frame.
The step was short. Metzeler noticed this brand new market potential and started to explore the world of motorcycle tyres.
Since then, Metzeler is recognized as the motorcycle tyres’ specialist all around the world.
