September saw a special celebration for West Coast Harley-Davidson\u00ae<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of September, West Coast Harley-Davidson\u00ae<\/sup> celebrated its 25th<\/sup> anniversary over a jam-packed weekend at the Pit Lane dealership in Hillington, Glasgow. Several H-D grandees attended, including the Vice President and Director of EMEA, Kolja Rebstock, as well as UK & Ireland National Sales Manager, Martin Mulder. The pair presented Don Rutherford and Managing Director David Hackshall with an award in recognition of their significant achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weekend\u2019s activities included a talk by Tour1\u2019s Gary France regaling his tales of touring Europe and beyond, music by Gordon Junior Seith and Vintage Vinyl as well as a specially commissioned artwork by Bmore Sketchy. It wouldn\u2019t be a party without some tasty grub and a full hog roast ensured that all were well fed while donations were made to the Davidson Legacy Preservation Group who are fast approaching the final hurdle to raise money and save the Davidson Legacy Cottage near Aberlemno.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come Sunday morning, with the help of Clyde Valley Chapter, who are also celebrating their 25th<\/sup> year, a group of around 50 or more riders and enthusiasts assembled for a ride-out in dry \u2013 if a bit chilly \u2013 conditions over the famous Duke\u2019s Pass in the Trossachs, with lunch in Callander, before heading back home in glorious sunshine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the weekend\u2019s activity, Executive Director Don Rutherford said: \u201cIt\u2019s been an absolute privilege for us to serve the Harley-Davidson community in Scotland for the last 25 years and I am extremely proud of our staff, both present and past, who\u2019ve put in so much hard work and contributed to our success and longevity. Most of all, a big thank you must go out to the members of Clyde Valley H.O.G. Chapter and all our customers, who\u2019ve made it all possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
