What to look forward to at European Bike Week 2025

September’s rally in Faaker See promises to ignite motorcyclists’ passion once more as the European season draws to a close…

There’s something unique about European Bike Week^®, an event that is about to celebrate its 27^th anniversary in 2025. Taking place on the shores of Faaker See in Carinthia, Austria, from 2-7 September, it’s the biggest free and open motorcycle event in Europe, regularly attracting riders from around the world – just last year there were visitors from North America, the Middle East, Asia and as far afield as Australia, New Zealand and Brazil…

In 2024 more than 100,000 people and 70,000 motorcycles rocked the main site in the town of Faak am See, and this year, we’re expecting even more – hopefully including you! If you’re going, make sure to let us know by clicking the GOING button at the official Facebook Event.

There will also be five nights of free entertainment on two main stages. The Saloon Bar, situated right beside the main plaza, will feature live acts from 4pm every afternoon until 2am in the morning, with a different line-up every day. Meanwhile, the Vida Loca Road Bar – the legendary red party bus – also returns to rock the plaza. And just down the dealer mile near the Customiser Zone, you’ll also find the Harley Bar, with live acts from 5.30pm until 2am as well.

The Custom Bike Show, sponsored by Metzeler, will take place on Friday 5 September. Entry is free in six categories including Tourer, Cruiser, Sport, Antique and Restomod, Adventure and Off-road, and Radical Custom. Every entrant receives a free gift from Harley-Davidson and there are winner and runners-up trophies in each category, as well as a Best in Show award and the Metzeler Judges’ Choice. Even if you’re not entering a bike, come along, take a look and vote for your favourite to take home the Metzeler People’s Choice award.

The unforgettable Harley-Davidson parade also takes place on Saturday 6, winding its way from the biker sculpture roundabout just outside Faak am See through some spectacular roads – including Villach’s city centre, lined with onlookers, and the long and scenic ride past Lake Ossiach.
