{"id":3107,"date":"2025-03-26T18:16:47","date_gmt":"2025-03-26T17:16:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hog.thecreativeplot.com\/en-eu\/?p=3107"},"modified":"2025-03-26T18:16:47","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T17:16:47","slug":"building-a-sidecar-the-harley-davidson-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hog.thecreativeplot.com\/en-eu\/building-a-sidecar-the-harley-davidson-way\/","title":{"rendered":"Building a sidecar the Harley-Davidson way"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"intro wp-block-paragraph\">A brochure in the Harley-Davidson Museum<sup>\u2122<\/sup> reveals how H-D made sidecars at their Juneau Avenue factory in the 1920s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cYou may know little about sidecar construction, and care less, but if you are going to be protected against \u2018that tired feeling\u2019 after a long ride, someone has to give a lot of attention to this subject.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>-Introduction to <strong>Building a Sidecar the Harley-Davidson Way<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first Harley-Davidson<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> sidecar was produced 110 years ago in 1915. In the meantime, we hurry on in the building of your eventual choice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The black and white brochure focused on sidecar bodies and frames, forgoing wheels, tires, bearings, and the motorcycle itself: \u201cThe wide expanse of related industries reaches beyond the rider\u2019s interest and our limit of narration for these few pages.\u201d Check out some of the key production stages discussed in the brochure, with original photos and text.
