Forget standing stones\u2014the monument is comprised of 39 American-made automobiles, all painted grey, and mimics the physical size and placement of the monoliths of Stonehenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, three cars are buried at Carhenge with an apt headstone, reading \u201cHere lie three bones of foreign cars. They served our purpose while Detroit slept.
