Meandering through the picturesque Southern Highlands of NSW, the trip to Kangaroo Valley combines the rolling green pastures of the Mittagong and Bowral areas, before descending into the temperate rainforests surrounding the quaint village of Kangaroo Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take the fall Step back in time
<\/strong>Fitzroy Falls \u2013 30 kilometres from Mittagong and 17 from Kangaroo Valley \u2013 is certainly worthy of your time. Located in Morton National Park, the falls plunge 80 metres into the valley below and the award-winning visitor\u2019s centre offers refreshments and a stack of quality info on the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>The Pioneer Village Museum, located on the Sydney side of Historic Hampden Bridge, offers a glimpse into the life of the early settlers of the area. Featuring original buildings, historic displays, and war memorial \u2013 a must-see for any history buff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
