Waterfall Way
New South Wales, Australia | 240km

Start early and catch the sunrise from the suspended Forest Sky Pier that floats above the subtropical forest with the town below. The twisty road up is pretty cool too. The historical town of Bellingen is a minor distraction before heading to Dorrigo via the Waterfall Way. This needs to be ridden a few times and here’s why: the road heads up a pretty decent hill, linking challenging corners with near-perfect bitumen, with sub-tropical forest rising above you and the hill dropping away to the coast below you. The crowning glory is a pair of cascading waterfalls splashing their way an arm’s length from the road and heading on below. Nymboida and Glenreagh complete the loop back to Coffs Harbour. Special scenery, special road and nothing but the thunder of your Harley® keeping you company.
Seal the deal
The Dolphin Marine Conservation Park, Coffs Harbour, allows you to experience marine animals up close. Connect with not just dolphins, but seals, turtles, penguins and even peacocks, as you discover why it’s critical to protect these magnificent ocean creatures.
Do the Dorrigo
The Eastern Dorrigo Way cuts across our route from Coramba to Dorrigo. A mixture of asphalt and dirt sections means it’s not for everyone but the 20-kilometre sealed section from Coramba to Ulong is worth a ride even if you just turn around and come back.
