European Bike Week 2025: what’s new?

The latest location and competition updates for this year’s European Bike Week^®

Win a Low Rider ST

It’s official: the European Bike Week^® win a motorcycle competition is back, with a loud roar! This year, attendees will be offered the chance to win a 2025 Low Rider^® ST on the Saturday evening in the main plaza. Entry is completely free of charge, too. You’ll be able to collect a numbered wristband from H-D Expo between Tuesday and Saturday afternoon, then make sure you’re there for the live draw on Saturday evening. When winning wristband numbers are drawn, there will be a short countdown to see if someone with the winning number comes forward to claim their prize. If not, a new number will be drawn. Terms and conditions will apply.

New location alert

This year’s Harley-Davidson Custom Bike Show, sponsored by Metzeler, heads to an exciting new location: the beautiful city of Villach, just 20 minutes by road from the main site at Faak am See and will give many more people the opportunity to gaze at some of Europe’s best custom creations.

The event will take place on Friday 5 September on the picturesque, cobblestoned main square, which will be closed to other traffic for the event. If you’ve ever participated in the European Bike Week parade, you’ll have ridden right past this street, just before you cross the bridge. Access will be one-way from the south, via 10.-Oktober-Strasse.

Entry is free and open to all, with gifts from Harley-Davidson and Metzeler for each bike, and there will be six categories to enter: Tourer, Cruiser, Sport, Antique, Adventure and Off-road and Radical Custom. Top prizes include first and second place in each category, plus overall Best in Show, Metzeler’s People’s Choice Award (voted for by the public) and Metzeler Judges’ Choice. Winners of these three awards will also receive a set of Metzeler tyres*.

Metzeler will be doing a tyre checking and changing service on the main site at Faak am See too. Make sure you visit them here!

Don’t miss your chance to take a 2025 Harley-Davidson^® motorcycle for a free ride in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Faak, at European Bike Week 2025. You can register your demo ride in advance at the link below – book now, as availability may be limited. If the model you would like to test ride isn’t available, please do check in with the demo ride team on-site. There will be additional availability each day.

Book an Adventure Experience
There will be two adventure experiences with Pan America^™ at European Bike Week 2025, make sure you don’t miss them. At the Adventure Zone, near the event entrance, you’ll find a controlled off-road simulated environment, where instructors will lead you around a slow riding course, enhancing your riding skills. The off-road quarry riding experience is making a welcome return to Faak am See too. You must book this in advance and specialist riding gear will be provided.

Book a guided tour
Ride with the local experts, H.O.G.^® Kärnten Chapter, will be running three different tours between 3-5 September, meeting at 8.30am and departing at 10am, following a briefing. The meeting point for all tours is outside the Elisabeth Apotheke on Dietrichsteinerstrasse.
