Acadian Coastal Ride

New Brunswick | 135 km

From Harley-Davidson of Moncton, head east toward the coast and stop for a quick photo at the World’s Largest Lobster sculpture in Shediac. Between the vibrant Acadian towns of Grande-Digue and Cocagne, you’ll pass the Caissie Point Lighthouse, built in 1872 to guide mariners into Shediac Bay.

As you make your way farther along the winding coast of Northumberland Bay, you’ll pass through a number of charming communities that highlight the area’s mix of Acadian, English and Mi’kmaq cultures.

For a deeper cultural dive, pause in Bouctouche. Here you’ll find the Pays se la Sagouine – an immersive Acadian experience – and the Kent Museum, housed in an 1880-built convent that is now a provincial heritage site.

From here, enjoy the sea air as you ride along to the Village of Rexton, where you’ll find an excellent lunch at the Seaside Grill.

Dune diversion
In Saint-Édouard-de-Kent, explore one of the longest dunes in North America – the 12 km Dune de Bouctouche at Irving Eco-Centre.
