Northern Vietnam Loop
Vietnam | 1183 km
This circular loop begins and ends at Harley-Davidson® Hanoi and takes you on a road trip around northern Vietnam through some of the country’s most beautiful places. Enjoy sweeping mountain roads, gorgeous terraced rice fields, indigenous hill tribes, waterfalls and picturesque mountain ranges with unbelievable views.
The rice terraces of Mù Cang Chải are magnificent and the area is famed for its motorcycling roads, which weave around the hills and follow the river valleys – the stretch between Mù Cang Chải town and Tú Lệ via the Khau Phạ Pass is particularly beautiful. Further north, the ride from Đồng Văn to Hà Giang along the Sông Nho Quế river goes through the Mã Pí Lèng Pass, considered to be the most beautiful pass in Vietnam.

Sapa town has a spectacular setting among rice terraces and white-water rivers. It’s worth taking the 6km cable car journey to the summit of Fansipan mountain – the views are unmatched!
WIDE WATER
Don’t miss the awe-inspiring sight of Ban Gioc Waterfalls, located 85km from Cao Bằng – at 30m high and 300m across, this is the widest (but not the highest) waterfall in the country.
