Start with some browsing at the massive 21,000 square foot facility of Winnipeg Harley-Davidson\u00ae<\/sup> on the eastern edge of Manitoba\u2019s capital city. Head out of town along the aptly named Perimeter Highway. Then, for about a kilometre and a half you\u2019ll ride the Red Coat Trail, the approximate path taken by the North West Mounted Police in 1874.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Turning onto Provincial Trunk Highway 3, you\u2019ll ride through farms and ranchland to just past Pomeroy, then a few quick turns will have you in Morden, home of Gaslight Harley-Davidson. It\u2019s easy to spend a couple of hours at this old-style dealership that\u2019s been selling Harley-Davidson motorcycles since 1977. When you\u2019ve had your fill, take time to explore the town of Morden, where you\u2019ll find the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame and the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Head back to Winnipeg along the Lord Selkirk Highway through the Red River Valley, roughly following the route used by Scottish settlers in the early 1800s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
