A passionate rider and content creator finds inspiration and fulfillment in connecting her worlds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born and raised on the north shore of Montreal, Maggie H\u00e9bert-Heimerl combines her passion for media with her love of motorcycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeing part of the motorcycle community, to me, isn\u2019t just about belonging to a group,\u201d she says. \u201cIt\u2019s about discovering a world that truly resonates with me. Riding motorcycles has always felt like a natural part of who I am. I don\u2019t just enjoy it \u2013 I deeply connect with it. The thrill, the freedom, the passion \u2013 it\u2019s something I genuinely love.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Known as \u201cMagness\u201d on social media (@magnessxx<\/a><\/strong>), this photographer and content creator is entering her sixth year of riding, currently on a 2016 Harley-Davidson\u00ae<\/sup> Sportster\u00ae<\/sup> Forty-Eight\u00ae<\/sup>.  As her passion for riding motorcycles has developed, Magness has combined her interests, using the adrenaline rush of capturing rider images to positively impact her craft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The call of the road has been her ultimate source of inspiration since she first felt the thrill of motorcycle riding as a passenger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I had this revelation when my stepdad took me on his big Harley-Davidson to pick up my car from the garage,\u201d she says. \u201cIt was my first time on a motorcycle, and it just hit me. I was like, what is this world? I\u2019m always stuck in a metal box (a car), and this amazing thing exists!? After that ride, I was like, I need to get a motorcycle ASAP!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the rest, as they say, is history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her most memorable trip to date happened last year, when she and a friend explored Japan on rented motorcycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRiding in another country is incredible, but Japan was unforgettable,\u201d she says. \u201cThe mountains, the architecture, the roads \u2013 everything felt like something straight out of The Lord of the Rings. <\/em>It was truly majestic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s next for Magness? She plans to expand her horizons, both literally and figuratively.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want to explore more \u2013 ride to new places, discover different cultures and, most importantly, experience the landscapes,\u201d she says. \u201cThen, I want to do more photography, videography and get more involved in the motorcycle community as a photographer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She\u2019s also eyeing a new bike \u2013 but admits she would miss her current ride. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m thinking of upgrading to a bigger bike,\u201d she says. \u201cI\u2019ve had a big crush on the Low Rider\u00ae<\/sup> S, but I also really like the Dyna\u00ae<\/sup> Low Rider. But at the same time, I really love my current bike. The look I\u2019ve achieved with it is just really stunning.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
