H-D Dealer Loop
Manitoba | 274 km
Start with some browsing at the massive 21,000 square foot facility of Winnipeg Harley-Davidson® on the eastern edge of Manitoba’s capital city. Head out of town along the aptly named Perimeter Highway. Then, for about a kilometre and a half you’ll ride the Red Coat Trail, the approximate path taken by the North West Mounted Police in 1874.
Turning onto Provincial Trunk Highway 3, you’ll ride through farms and ranchland to just past Pomeroy, then a few quick turns will have you in Morden, home of Gaslight Harley-Davidson. It’s easy to spend a couple of hours at this old-style dealership that’s been selling Harley-Davidson motorcycles since 1977. When you’ve had your fill, take time to explore the town of Morden, where you’ll find the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame and the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre.
Head back to Winnipeg along the Lord Selkirk Highway through the Red River Valley, roughly following the route used by Scottish settlers in the early 1800s.

The Morden Corn & Apple Festival, happening August 28–30, is Manitoba’s largest street festival, drawing 80,000 people to this town with a population of just over 9,100.
