HOG Canada Spotlight: Eric Lemieux

This Quebec rider made his childhood dream come true, sidecar and all

Eric Lemieux, a member of both the St-Jérôme and Repentigny HOG® chapters, started riding motorcycles at the age of 40, after a lifetime of dreaming about it.

When he was young, his father – a police officer – showed him the Quebec Police H-D® bikes with sidecars. It sparked a love for Harley-Davidson that Eric never forgot.

Eric bought an H-D Electra Glide® Classic in 2008, which he has modified in his own style over the years – including adding a sidecar to make that childhood dream come true. This bike took him and his wife on many adventures in the eastern United States as well as in Ontario and Quebec.

Last year he traded it in for a Tri Glide® Ultra, choosing the three-wheeled option as he continues to keep his passion for riding a Harley-Davidson® alive. Eric and his wife are currently planning on taking more beautiful trips and meeting new people on their new bike!
