British Columbia | 177 km

Check-in Location

31338 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Mission, B.C., V4S 1C5

Starting from Barnes Harley-Davidson in Langley, this scenic loop serves up lake and river views in an easy daytrip from anywhere in the Lower Mainland.

Riding east along Highway 7, follow the curves of the mighty Fraser River until you reach Silvermere Lake, where you’ll head north on Hayward Street. Follow tree-lined Keystone Ave. to Dewdney Trunk Road. Pause for a lakeside rest, or even a hike, at Bear Mountain Park, then carry on through the small community of Steelhead. The Stave Dam Forest Interpretive Trail is another scenic spot to stretch your legs as you begin to loop back to the west.

In Maple Ridge, you’ll break from the loop to ride up and back through Golden Ears Park to Alouette Lake – a great place to pull off your boots for a refreshing swim – before making your way back to Barnes H-D.

Powerhouse pit stop
The 100-year-old Powerhouse at Stave Falls is a National Historic Site just past Steelhead that offers a close-up look at turbines and generators as you learn about the history of hydroelectric power generation in B.C.
