European H.O.G.<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Rally teilgenommen hast, dann hast Du vielleicht noch nie von Cascais geh\u00f6rt \u2013 aber sicher schon von der Nachbarstadt Lissabon, der von Geschichte durchdrungenen Hauptstadt Portugals, die auf keiner Bucket List fehlen darf. Cascais ist ein Badeort, der nur 33 Kilometern von Harley-Davidson<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Lissabon entfernt ist. Seine Lage im S\u00fcdwesten der Iberischen Halbinsel macht es zu einem einzigartigen Ort und zu einem h\u00f6chst attraktiven Ziel, wenn man mit seiner Harley-Davidson die portugiesische Atlantikk\u00fcste erkunden m\u00f6chte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfen rund um Cascais sind absolut spektakul\u00e4r, weil die Atlantikwellen an manchen Str\u00e4nden fast hawaiianische Ausma\u00dfe annehmen und die Gegend zu einem Paradies f\u00fcr Surfer machen&#8230; Allerdings kann nur wahren Experten empfohlen werden, sich an Orten wie dem Guincho-Strand in die Wellen zu wagen! Es gibt noch viel mehr zu entdecken, darunter die atemberaubenden Klippen von Boca de Inferno. Aber keine Sorge, viele der Str\u00e4nde und Promenaden entlang der Estoril-K\u00fcste wie die Praia da Ribeira und die Praia da Rainha an der K\u00fcste von Cascais sind weniger spektakul\u00e4r, aber daf\u00fcr absolut entspannend.&nbsp; Und da die 32. European H.O.G. Rally vom 18. bis zum 21. Jahrhundert war Cascais ein bescheidenes Fischerdorf, dann aber richtete der K\u00f6nig von Portugal dort die offizielle Sommerresidenz der k\u00f6niglichen Familie ein. Die Reichen und Ber\u00fchmten folgten, und Cascais wurde ein \u00e4u\u00dferst beliebter und wohlhabender Ort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interessanterweise waren Cascais und Estoril im Zweiten Weltkrieg wegen der damaligen Neutralit\u00e4t Portugals beliebte Zufluchtsorte f\u00fcr politische Fl\u00fcchtlinge und Treffpunkte f\u00fcr Spione und Agenten anderer L\u00e4nder. Aus diesem Grund hat auch der Schriftsteller Ian Fleming das ber\u00fchmte Casino Estoril als Vorbild f\u00fcr das fiktive Casino Royale in seinem ersten James-Bond-Roman gew\u00e4hlt. Jahre sp\u00e4ter z\u00e4hlte sowohl das Casino Estoril als auch das Hotel Palacio Estoril zu den Drehorten f\u00fcr den James-Bond-Film <em>Im Geheimdienst Ihrer Majest\u00e4t<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die wichtigsten Veranstaltungsorte der European H.O.G. Rally werden in Cascais direkt am Meer liegen: zum Beispiel die H-D Expo, auf der unter anderem die neuesten 2026er Modelle zu sehen sein werden, die Hauptb\u00fchne, auf der an drei Abenden verschiedene Interpreten eintrittsfreie Konzerte geben werden, sowie die H-D Vertragsh\u00e4ndler und andere Aussteller, die jede Menge Merchandise, Custom Parts und \u00c4hnliches feilbieten werden. Das Unterhaltungsprogramm wird bald angek\u00fcndigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die H-D Probefahrten werden ebenfalls in der N\u00e4he stationiert sein, so dass jeder Interessent kostenlos eine Probefahrt auf seinem Lieblingsmodell aus dem 2026er Line-up buchen kann \u2013 ein g\u00fcltiger Motorradf\u00fchrerschein und eigene Schutzausr\u00fcstung sind allerdings Voraussetzung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Anreise nach Cascais bietet zahllose Gelegenheiten, Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten in Spanien und Portugal zu besuchen, aber auch die Gegend um Cascais lohnt es zu erkunden. Neben Cascais selbst und dem Boca de Inferno sollte man an der K\u00fcste auch Estoril und nat\u00fcrlich Lissabon besuchen. Unbedingt lohnenswert ist auch eine Fahrt nach Sintra, das in den nahegelegenen H\u00fcgeln liegt \u2013 ein Weltkulturerbe mit gro\u00dfartigen Burgen, Kirchen und Stra\u00dfen mit Kopfsteinpflaster. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weitere lokale Highlights in der N\u00e4he von Cascais sind der Leuchtturm und das Museum von Santa Marta sowie der schattige Marechal Carmona Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die H.O.G.
