Introducing Asia’s most recently founded chapter – with a twist
A brand new chapter has been launched in Thailand – but this time, it’s not tied to a particular locale or dealership. The Ladies of Harley Thailand Chapter, sponsored by H-D Asia Emerging Markets, has been formed as a special endeavour to reaffirm the Harley Owners Group’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity, camaraderie and bold spirit of adventure shared by all Harley-Davidson® riders.
The chapter is led by women, for women, as an entirely voluntary initiative with the aim of inspiring others. Leading the way are Director Kunlanattha “Jacky” Yachomphu, Assistant Director Aom Chomchairat, Treasurer Nudnaree “Gag” Ieochaiporn and Secretary Thananya “Eve” Buranachat.

“The idea to start a Ladies of Harley™ chapter came from a shared vision among a few passionate riders, who believed it was time to create a space where female Harley-Davidson enthusiasts could truly shine,” reveals Jacky. “While the spark may have come from a small group of us, it was the support of the wider H.O.G.™ community in Thailand that brought it to life. It’s not just one person’s idea – it’s a collective dream that we’ve made real together.”
Jacky has a very personal connection to Harley-Davidson, having started out riding pillion behind her brother and loving every second of it. After he sadly passed away, she felt determined to carry his dream and found her own one along the way: to own a Harley® motorcycle of her own. Now, she does, and every ride she takes has become a tribute to her beloved brother and a celebration of just how far she’s come.
She’s also a proactive member of her local Phuket Chapter, organising events and supporting new members. “Being active at both the national and regional levels allows me to help bridge communities and bring more unity and energy to everything we do,” she explains. “What I love most about H.O.G. is the true sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. No matter where you come from or what you ride, you’re welcomed like family.
“Riding a Harley isn’t just for men – it’s for anyone with passion and spirit. I believe it’s important to have a Ladies of Harley group because women deserve a space where they can ride, lead and connect with confidence. LOH creates a supportive environment where women can feel empowered to grow their skills, share experiences and inspire each other. It breaks stereotypes, builds confidence, and shows the world that women riders are strong, capable and proud. Together, we’re not just riding – we’re changing the culture, one mile at a time.”

Jacky and her team are determined to build a strong and inclusive chapter, with plenty to look forward to. National rides, safety workshops, mentorship programmes for new riders and collaborations with other H.O.G. chapters across Asia are all in the works. “I also hope to use our platform to give back through charity and environmental projects that reflect our values,” she adds. “Ultimately, my goal is to leave a legacy – not just of great rides, but of a sisterhood that supports and uplifts every woman who joins us on the journey.”
She’s already inspired her daughter to follow in her footsteps – first on the back behind her mother, and now on a Harley of her own. And, she’s riding with one on the way… a third generation to carry on the torch. Jacky’s advice to anyone interested in riding and joining the Ladies of Harley Thailand Chapter?
“Just do it. You don’t have to wait for the perfect moment, the perfect bike, or someone to ride with. You are strong enough, brave enough and capable enough to start now. Riding isn’t just about the machine – it’s about finding freedom, confidence and discovering a version of yourself you didn’t know existed. We all start somewhere; I started on the back seat. So if you’re thinking about it, this is your sign – start your journey, the road is waiting.”
